I have been so pleased with the progress my horse and I have made with Callie’s training. Our sessions are fun, effective and very intuitive. I can see my horse trusts Callie and I do too – very skilfully she quickly understood where both of us were starting from, and we are making great progress towards where we want to be. Callie is a great rider, a great teacher and what she teaches has made such a wonderful difference.

Callie is a true equestrian master, she regularly comes to work with me and my 3 girls.

She’s transformed my young filly and nervous mare, teaching them everything from basic manners to advanced riding skills (for the mare), also patiently and gently persuaded my other mare to load again following a bad experience.

Callie’s patience, knowledge, and gentle approach have been invaluable. She’s not only a skilled trainer but also a wonderful teacher, helping me understand and communicate with my horses better.

I trust Callie implicitly with my horses’ care. If you’re looking for a dedicated and talented trainer, I highly recommend Callie.

"Callie was recommended to me by a friend, when after a year of owning my new mare Bella, I was still unable to hack alone, walk through gateways, lead her into a stable and loading was totally out of the question.   Despite watching videos and reading 100s of articles and books, we were not improving at all.

Bella would either rear and spin or just plant and totally refuse to move.  Callie realised within a few minutes of meeting  Bella that she was in total shut down due to previous trauma.  Callie has helped teach Bella how to move and relax when being asked to do simple things that she finds overwhelming, and more importantly, has given me the tools to help Bella when she gets stuck.

Callie understands and can read horses behaviour even when faced with a mare who gave few clues and would just freeze rather than explode.

I am now able to leave the yard on my own and meet up with friends to hack, go through gates into the woods and we made it to a residential camp in October which seems like an impossibility!  Bella will still freeze when something worries her, but I now have the tools and understanding of how to help her through situations.

I have been absolutely delighted with the methods Callie uses for my very sensitive and opinionated mare and I would highly recommend her.!

Callie has been fantastic in helping my mare - she’s naturally anxious & Callie’s training & empathy with her has transformed her. Couldn’t have done this without her. Thank you Callie

I asked Callie in April 24 if she could  start my 5-year-old dressage-bred mare Swantee.

My mare had a foal the previous year and was only used to the basics like halter, leading, lifting legs for the farrier and loading. She had dropped a bit of top line and muscle after weaning at the start of 2024. So I liked the idea of getting my mare started slowly, using the TRT method and building up confidence and muscle from there.

Starting with an impressive arsenal of different flags, and noisy and scary toys, Callie has done a wonderful and very professional job with Swantee, teaching her to trust herself and humans and listen to her person in all circumstances. In addition to being hacked to explore the world, Swantee is now regularly trained by Callie, and is making fantastic progress: she has learned to park herself at the mounting block, is doing walk, trot and canter in the school and is starting some lateral movements.

I would recommend Callie to everyone who is looking for a kind, competent horse trainer who is always thinking about how to teach a horse to survive  in the human world and always at the horses pace from the horses’ perspective.
